Cigarette Break

Cigarette Break

1 chapter / 349 words

Approximately 2 minutes to read

This was written during an psychotic episode. Instead of coming in and going to sleep, like I should have done, I came in and wrote this. Some of my best poetry comes from my episodes, so I guess don't look a gift horse in the mouth, even though I am focusing more on novel writing than poetry, I have enough of it to fill this website and then some. I will share what I can when I can. My time is in short supply these days.

Just about to read it- but the description sounds so familiar to me. So often my mind is so strangely scrambled during an episode, that poetry and words just come so easily to me. It's crazy to know the same happens for you :)

The language in this brings the reader out of the tale, but in a good way; if that makes sense. It's a bit abrupt like the cat dashing across his/her field of vision and somehow add to the poem. It was interesting and captivating. Keep up the good work.
