Description:
What if you died, but lived on?
What if you found out that the reason you're in this mess is because of one of your oldest relatives?
Would you go with destiny?
Or would you fight back?
Asmere Michaels was ecstatic to hear that her father was taking the family to Scotland for a business trip. She was even more excited to see where they were staying: in a huge mansion full of beautiful rooms and secret passageways. But, the maids and butlers of the mansion seem to be hiding something from her. Something beyond her wildest dreams. Or maybe her fiercest nightmares?
Once Asmere discovers this secret, she escapes the mansion only to find that she has been thrown back in time and that, in order to save hundreds of innocent lives, she must become one of the monsters she has been so desperately fleeing from. But will her choice be her beginning, or bloody end?

I read all of it. :) It took me a bit of time but I did it. You are a wonderful writer. I usually cannot stand vampire stories, but this one was actally entertaining. It was a good read and I really enjoyed it. The ending made me angry, good on you books don't usually do that to me. :)

You definitely took NaNoWriMo seriously xD I read up to chapter 5. This is amazing! It's filled with so many good descriptions and very greatly developed characters. I love the boys :3 . But, I'm confused on something... the beginning, on the prologue, it seems as if it was set on a time of around... the 1800's. I don't know if I missed the transition of it getting to modern times. I love her name, too! It's very unique, and I just love it. I love where this is heading, that's for sure. I loved how you wrote the accents too, that made me laugh, since I tried to say it out loud. I saw very few mistakes, and that's always good. I have to admit that the beginning was my favorite. I love the name Alec. I just do. Great work!

I read all of it so far.
I LOVE IT! There hasn't been a novel on Figment yet that has drawn my attention so far in like yours did.
I think my favorite part of it is that you balance modern, supernatural, and cultural really well and I like how you explore each part really well.
I think you should add more background later on how Anthony and his minions found Asmere in the end.
I think in the beginning if you establish that it's more of a modern atmosphere, it'd be clearer because I thought it would be in a more medieval setting but it was more modern, which I liked but add it to be clearer.
Nice job on this NaNo! I want to finish it when you finish it!

Okay, I've been recieving some messages from a few of the readers and I know that you are confused. I'll just tell you right now that you are supposed to be. None of it is supposed to make absolute sense, but everything gets explained in the next book, I will make sure to it. This is going to be a trilogy. It is still in the process of being written, but I have the basic idea and layout for it. It explains the prologue, the butlers, and where all the vampires came from. Sorry for the confusion!
