Autism affects 1 in 110 children. 1 in 70 boys. A short story about an older sister and her little brother with autism over the space of three years. All of this really happened to me. I changed my brother's name though. I hope you like it! If you would like to know about autism, visit Also, I have an Autism Speaks group. Click on my name, and you'll see it with my other groups on the side...

This actually made me cry. I don't know what else to say, because I'm kind for in a state of shock. There used to be an autistic girl in my class a long time ago when I was in 6th grade, but she left to be home-schooled because she was being bullied. It made me sad at the time, but reading this piece, it brought it all back and I started to cry because I was thinking about her and how she was the nicest person in my grade and how she didn't deserve any of it. Sometimes I feel like people with disabilities, it's almost like their hearts are almost too big and loving to belong here. God bless, Gwen

aw this is really great! I choose this one cause my bro has autism. Very cute story! I'd just suggest bringing the paragraphs closer, they have large spaces. Other than that well done:D
