Description:

(UNDERGOING REVISION) Spontaneity is Cassidy Lancelow's signature word. Wherever, whenever, she's ready to jump in. That is, except when it comes to a startling, chocolate-eyed boy named Desmond Chase. He's arrogant, he's mischievous, and most of all, he's irresistible. The more Cassidy's around him, the more she struggles with her inner desires. As she works to discover her talents and complete the tasks assigned to her by a strange society, she finds herself falling deeper and deeper in the emotion she never likes to let herself show--love. ~~~~~~~~~

HE IIISSSSSSSS THAT SPECIAL SOMEONE YOU IDIOT. GAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH.

Well, hello. This book really reeled me in, and quite honestly, I can't tell whether or not I love, or hate that two faced, good looking Desmond. Hmm.

But, I can say, they need to hook up or else my brain will melt into a pool of lava, and it will burn through my skull and wash over my paralyzed body until I'm just a pile of ashes and I will never know whether or not they express their undying love for one another. Cause I SWEAR if they don't kiss RIGHT NOW I will ultimately not exist anymore. Would you want that? Would you really want that? How would you explain that to the police? "Oh, you know, I just killed her with my writing. It was completely my characters fault. Not mine. I had nothing to do with it." Cause THAT would go over well.

So I suggest you have Cass scream her love for him at the top of the mountains right now. Or add another chapter, with some more Des/Cass feels and I will be able to keep the burning to ashes down to a minimum. For now.

Did I forget to mention how lovely this is? I got lost in all my dying talk (and, whether you want to call it this or not, threats/bribery to get you to update soon. Is it working?) I mean, its so well written... and it makes me fall onto the floor in an avalanche of feels that I can't make out enough to comprehend.

The character development was great. Just from the first chapter I could already tell what kind of person Cassidy was. (Though, Desmond is a COMPLETELY different story.) I like the mystery of that boy though. Really leaves you thinking. Even though it intrigues me, it also leaves me very frustrated. I think a trip to the emergency room is needed for the future for how many times I have pounded my head against the wall. I've had to clean up the blood several times.

You have such great descriptions, and settings. I love where Cass lives, I've dreamed of living on the ocean my whole life (but of course, with my luck, that wont happen until I'm 40 and living alone with 13 cats and a gerbil. Most likely his name will be Henry.) AND HOLY MOTHER OF GOATS. The Hatters. I find that extremely incredible, the idea is magnificent and I'm still very curious as to what they really ARE. I suppose in the near future I will find out... but, y'know, who likes to wait these days? So overrated.

SO. Overall, this book is amazing. Hands down.

Although, I am slightly disappointed that this isn't finished yet... (*hint hint) But I'm happy with the amount I had to read for this boring Sunday afternoon. Congrats, you entertained me. (I'm sorry, that sounded really sarcastic. You honestly did keep me entertained for a good 4 hours.)

I think I have overstayed my welcome. So, I shall be leaving now (the vase of Lilies on your coffee table is a lovely touch, by the way) good day, and happy writing (:

(I really have no critique for you, because this was too brilliant and fabulous for me to even suggest something.)

P.S. THE FACT THAT DESMOND BROUGHT UP ASKING CHAR OUT AFTER HE WAS GOING TO KIIISSSSSS CASSIDY, MAKES ME WANT TO PUNCH HIM. HARD.
