I loved the poem at the beginning it immediantly made me want to read more. However, the beginning of the first chapter is a bit confusing. Namely where your character talks about waking up very early. It becomes jumbled.

I could only read some of it, due to being in school...
It sounded quite interesting. Nicely descripted.

Intense. A government controlled country. It's effective, it's strict, and it's organized. I myself find it very tricky to go through all that trouble. I hate having to research things so I stick to fantasy. My respect to all those who are willing to research all the facts necessary. I also find the title very enticing.

An interesting science-fiction story that engages the reader from the very beginning. The protagonist is well-written and the reader is quickly able to feel for them.
My magor critique is that the long sentences detract from the intended sense of urgency. Full stops in places would work better than commas, and would better portray the frantic nature of the scene.
Is the prelude actually needed?
On the whole a good story, and I am looking forward to what comes next.
