This is done in the style of a scene, not a story.
Lucille loves silent films for their Romanticism and in the background is a typical scene in the silent films she so loves.
(romanticism |rōˈmantəˌsizəm; rə-|
1 (often Romanticism) a movement in the arts and literature that originated in the late 18th century, emphasizing inspiration, subjectivity, and the primacy of the individual.
2 the state or quality of being romantic : a quality of romanticism about women that leads to the creation of a pipe-dream fantasy.)

This reminded me a lot of the movie, The Artist. I agree wit Step-on-me. I was a little disappointed when it wasn't a 20's romance, but this was well written. Great job!

It was a little bit of a letdown because you led me to expect this to be a romance of the 20's. Either way it was still good for a scene.

Nice job, and the ending was very dramatic. You should definitely plan to continue this. And maybe spice it up somehow? I dunno, maybe it's just personal preference. Either way, great job.
