Rated M for some bloody violence, disturbing situations, & mild language.

When William, a 33-year-old man, is admitted to the Woodstone Institute mental asylum, he feels isolated, alone, and trapped. He is diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder, but what trauma he had been through, he cannot begin to guess. The worst part? Neither can the Institute. So William decides to escape. Unfortunately, it'll cost a river of blood....

See, my problem with this is that I'm not really sure what tone you were trying to convey. I feel like the humor is a little too forced, which doesn't suit the narrator at all. He's supposed to be unhinged. He shouldn't be trying to make anyone laugh. He should just be observing. (Whether or not his observations make the reader laugh shouldn't matter. He shouldn't just act crazy, but think crazy. Do you get what I'm going for?) I feel like some more deadpan would help here. Just to kind of show how unattached Will is to everything and everyone. I know this was rushed, and knowing that, I can forgive this story, but there's always room for improvement.
