In a world deprived of electricity for the last twenty years, the continents are no longer cities and regions. They are just the continents. They are ruled by Zoran, the continent formerly called Australia. Every six months, four children ages elevin to twenty-five are chosen from each continent, minus Zoran, to go on a mission to restore the power.

I think that the premise of the story is fine, but sometime the punctuation and grammar can use a bit of cleaning up. Watch the commas versus periods, some of the dialogue... Other than that, though, you are a lovely writer and I adored reading this. The characters are well done and the setting is gorgeous (from the perspective of a writer). Excellently written.

I agree with some of the others, this was extremely well done...but followed the Hunger Games pretty closely. Granted, it was original, but the basic plot was very similar. Other than that, this was a nice piece. I liked your descriptions and your character's voice. Awesome!

*For the Swap* So at the beginning I was kind of disappointed because it seemed exactly like the hunger games. As you got going it started to stray from it more but still. I found myself unconsciously comparing the two the whole time. Despite that it was very well written and I liked your writing style so good job there. :)

it was similar to the hunger games, but in a good way. i love the way you made the relationships between the sisters though. it makes me want one who'd do the same
