That was so upsetting, but also sweet. There were a few sentences that sounded kind of weird and the ending was abrupt, but I really liked it. Good job :)

I apologize for taking so long as I know we all have busy lives, but I have to confess that I have had plenty of time to read this and I have been negligent. I do apologize. I am, however, glad that I read it today because this story... this story is amazing! I'm not sure why, but I'm reading many very good stories and I'm amazed at each one I read because it's a different situation, but the fact of remorse and sorrow works hand in hand, but I digress.

This story actually made me shed a tear because... I had to do the same thing for a loved one (my great-grandma, and one of my closest friends who I considered a sister) and it is truly hard to say goodbye. I'm not sure why, but I also feel the same thing. (I believe in paranormal sightings and spirits walking the earth for the fact that I keep hearing/seeing my great-grandma as well as my other friends who have "Sixth Senses") It is still hard to let go and even though the sun shines, you know life is still going to be okay.

I really do enjoy this story and because of how much I care for it, and it's the first one to actually make me kind of cry on Figment, I have no choice but to give it a ten -no- a 20 out of 10 because anything that invokes that kind of emotion in the fewest of words is truly a masterpiece!

I also have the honor to say that this deserves... HEARTS AND EMOTIONS! Truly A+ material, and a fantastic job! I can't wait to read more if you wish ti continue swaps in the future! =)

Very very good job! It was so sad. The amount of emotion you fit into 595 words was amazing. I really loved the end. It was a teeny bit of hope and I really liked it. Fantastic job and good luck in the contest!
