This was for an english assignment i did during my freshman year of high school. We had to write a true narrative essay, and I made mine about track and field. Its about a compitition that i did a couple years ago that i thought was important to me. I didn't win it or anything- it's just a story showing how important a competition can be for track athletes. I thought I would post it because there doesn't seem to be enough writing about the art of track and field. Yes, racing is an art.

This is, by far, the most amazing book I have ever read! Better than Percy Jackson! Better than Harry Potter! Better than every book in the world! No book, can beat this! I really love running, and I am glad that someone finally came to their senses and wrote about it! Keep up the great work Scorpio Ryder! I am following you! Click! There! Justice delivered!

I loved this! As a track athlete myself (60m, 100m, 200m), I loved reading about the sport! There aren't many stories on it. Great job!

I really love your essay! It was so descriptive that it felt as if I was there. When you were anxious, I felt anxious too!

One thing you could work on is I saw some small grammatical errors. Also you could use more specific words when describing certain things, it's not fun to here the same words over and over again.

Overall I think this was a great piece of writing!
