Description:

I have been told numerous time that this story flows like a poem. Yes your right, it does. I had a poem a few years back that I had written and when I came across the Whatif? contest I was inspired to write a short story using some of the lines from the poem.

Hmm. This is a very poetic story, although it kind of jumps around a lot. That could be a problem for a contest entry.

This was very beautifully written. I agree with others who say this story flows like a poem and that's impressive. Good luck on the contest!

I really liked it the feeling of loss the imagery that you provided in the story, but I was a little confused because you started calling the air him, then it was a her and then it was sHe which was weird so I don't know if that was intentional or not.
