Wow, the flow in this writing is amazing and brings out the meaning in a very emotional way. Being honest, I felt like crying, this is a really sad poem.

So many people think it's not a big deal to abuse, starve or neglect their animals but in reality... It's a horrible thing. I work at a rescue center and own a Horse rescue center. I get so many calls and stories about these animals, so many are just heart tearing. How can you live with knowing an animal you once loved is now feared by you? I don't know how I ever lived with my dad, he abused a dog and I never thought about it till I was in college. Think before you hurt an animal. Just because they hurt you doesn't mean you repay them by pain, you repay them by understanding. I may not have people agree with this but... Stand up for those animals, they cannot stop that pain. They cannot speak your language. Speak up for them and take a stand. Actions speak louder then words. I have this dog named Syler and his owner abused and neglected him, he was skin and bones when I picked him up. He turned out to be a registered rare Alaskin Malamute Wolf mix but when we brought him in he looked like a Greyhound. He passed away later that year to cancer but just think about those animals. I relate to this a lot, I used to live in California and people would just dump animals off and drive away blasting their music. Stand up for those animals! I challenge you younger folks to take a stand and help those animals who cannot help themselves. Think about all those animals... Just think... ''If I chose to stand up for him, what would I feel?'' Think about them. Stand up for them. Speak for them as they cannot themselves.

Planning on being a vet and I'm sometimes around abused animals, so this is exactly how I feel.

This poem was thoroughly enjoyable, animal cruelty is real and should be treated in a sensitive manner. personally I think that people are being de-sensitized by the popular news media and this is a good way of exposing things that are right in front of our faces. Good Job!

Everyday is a beautiful poem about animal rights that makes you think about just how much you impact the lives of the animals around you. The harsh reality in this poem make you wonder just what you can do and how you can help. It is beautifully written and makes me think about all the animals in my life that I would never want to lose. Writing and reading this kind of work is a wonderful thing to do, and makes others aware of what is happening around the world. The ending is wonderfully worded and brings so much emotion into the piece. I would love to read more, I think it would be nice if it was longer, but it does not have to be. This piece is very inspiring and makes you want to think. Overall, a wonderful poem and well worth reading and sharing to friends and family. Good Job Tora Obenour.
