Completely excellent. So many small details - her impending Starbucks shift, the water pooling on the floor mat, the color of the SUV... all culminating in a well-crafted punchline. Congrats! :)

Ha ha ha ha! Oooooh, how embarrassing! Thankfully I've never done anything that bad, but I have done the "Make sure my ponytail is smooth in a car window and realize there's someone in the car", so I've had a little taste of it. :P I love her good nature in that she was able to laugh it off instead of letting it get to her.

I don't know why, but I really love this story. It's so simple and true-to-life. I couldn't find anything the matter with it. It flowed beautifully. And you have an incredible amount of detail in just 250 words. Well done! And thank you for sharing your wonderful talent! I hope to see your name on the cover of a book one day! (If you ever get published, let me know. I'd love to read your work!)
