LONG SHOT! But I would love to actually get paid for editing for once. I edited four of my friends novels. Comment on my wall if you're interested because I'm about to lose this post.

    Editing a friend's manuscript does not make you an editor. It's a lot less involved than editing for paid jobs. If you're asking for money, you're selling yourself as an experienced professional. I don't think that's the case.

    Sorry, I'm not trying to be rude. I'm just helping you face reality. If you'd like to be paid for editing services, first get a degree, then get a job. Simple as that. :)
