Hi, My name is Maya Bode and I'm a thirteen-year-old teen author in Colorado. I run a group called Crazy Contests, and am looking for a few more members.

If you're tired of boring prompts, and want something more challenging to think about, this group is for you! Here, you will find the most unique, tricky, and creative prompts we can come up with that will make participants think! Help come up with suggestions for prompts, and then enter the contests.

I have empathy with writers that can't keep their stories super short. For most of the contests, there is NO WORD LIMIT! Also, these contests are NOT heart-based — I judge them.

Another thing different about this group is that there's a discussion board where you can talk about the inspiration for the piece you entered, or why it deserves to win. You can also vote/say why you think the other contestant's pieces should win, if you don't want to enter a certain contest! If you choose to write something on that board, it might just help your chances!

If you want to join, here's the link:

The current prompt is "What Color Represents You and Why?" It can be a poem or a story!

If you don't want to join, it would be super helpful if you spread the word to just a few people -- but of course you don't have to.

Thanks again! Keep writing, -Maya

Excuse me, Miss Caraballo, would you mind doing a swap? You name your price in exchange for reading my Pandemic Of Pachyderms. That's right, name any amount of stories (but don't go crazy please), in exchange for one read and review. Just click the picture below to be taken to the story. Thanks!
