About me: I am obsessed with The Lord of the Rings and music, especially marching band and The Phantom of the Opera. Marching band is a HUGE part of my life. I am always thinking about it. I love the band like my family. Yes, even my actual older brother. Most of the time, anyway. Star Wars music is also pretty awesome. Favorite quotes: "The two most common elements in the universe are hydrogen and stupidity, not necessarily in that order". Also, "I am glad that you are here with me. Here at the end of all things, Sam."
My favorite place to read is: Out on the screened porch during a huge thunderstorm (the bigger the better), with the trees lashing and swaying in the wind and the thunder rumbling in the distance, promising rain...
I can't live without: My (shiny) trumpet, chocolate, my iPod, and books.
If I could be any literary character, I would be: Eh... one of two characters, even though both of them are male. In no particular order, they are Ender from the Ender series by Orson Scott Card, despite the fact that his life pretty much sucks, or Aragorn from LOTR 'cause he's just awesome like that.
Favorite authors: J. R. R. Tolkien, Sir Walter Scott, Tolkien, Victor Hugo, H. G. Wells, Alexandre Dumas, Tolkien, Douglas Adams, Tolkien, Ray Bradbury, Arthur C. Clarke, Tolkien, and Edgar Allen Poe. Yes, there are plenty of strange combinations in there.
