    Hacking Harvard

It's the ultimate challenge: breaking into the Ivy League.

    The hack:

To get one deadbeat, fully unqualified slacker into the most prestigious school in the country.

    The crew:

Eric Roth -- the good guy, the voice of reason.

Max Kim -- the player who made the bet in the first place.

Schwartz -- the kid genius already on the inside...of Harvard, that is.

Lexi -- the beauty-queen valedictorian who insists on getting in the game.

    The plan:

Use only the most undetectable schemes and techno-brilliant skills. Don't break the Hacker's Code. Don't get distracted. Don't get caught. Take down someone who deserves it.

    The stakes:

A lot higher than they think.

They've got the players, the plot, and soon -- the prize.

    It's go time.

    Frozen (Cold Awakening #1)

The Download was supposed to change the world. It was supposed to mean the end of aging the end of death, the birth of a new humanity. But it wasn't supposed to happen to someone like Lia Kahn.

And it wasn't supposed to ruin her life.

Lia knows she should be grateful she didn't die in the accident. The Download saved her--but it also changed her, forever. She can deal with being a freak. She can deal with the fear in her parents' eyes and the way her boyfriend flinches at her touch. But she can't deal with what she knows, deep down, every time she forces herself to look in the mirror: She's not the same person she used to be.

Maybe she's not even a person at all.

    Shattered (Cold Awakening #2)

Before the accident, Lia Kahn was happy.
Before the accident, Lia Kahn was loved.
Before, Lia was a lot of things: Normal. Alive.
    Human.
Lia no longer believes in before. Six months after the crash that killed her, six months after being reborn, Lia has finally accepted her new reality. She is a machine, a mech, and she belongs with her own kind. It's a wild, carefree life, without rules and without fear. Because there's nothing to fear when you have nothing left to lose.
But when a voice from her past cries out for revenge, everything changes. Lia is forced to choose between her old life and her new one. Between humans and mechs. Between sacrificing the girl she used to be and saving the boy she used to love.
Even if it means he'll hate her forever.

  • Book3_torn

    Torn (Cold Awakening #3)

One year ago, Lia Kahn died.
A few days later, she woke up.

She had a new body: Mechanical, unfeeling, inhuman. She had a new family: Mechs like her, who didn’t judge her for what she could no longer be. She had a new life, one that would last forever.

At least, it was supposed to.

But now everything Lia thought she knew has turned out to be a lie; everyone she thought she loved has been stolen away. And someone is trying to get rid of the mechs, once and for all. Lia will risk everything to save herself and the people she can’t live without. But not before facing one final truth: She can’t save everyone.

Ms. Wasserman,

I seem to have read a book that is very similar, or maybe the same to Frozen down to the characters. I am wondering if Frozen is a reboot/re-release of Wired? I read that 6 months ago. So yeah, just wondering.

Oh and are you familar with Pol Anderson's Harvest of Stars? It has some interesting parts with the same idea as the downloads in your books.

I don't normally bug verified authors, but this time I am.

Thanks,
Cassy Blue

I love the Chasing Yesterday series!!!!!! You are fantastic and original for once. Sorry if I offend anyone but I am tired of paranormal romances, and that it's a section in Barnes and Noble now!!! Ridiculous! Thank you for breaking away from the frighteningly addicting trend that Twilight has sparked. I can't wait to read Skinned, I just bought it :D
