Talk to me!

Hello Kimberly!

During the next week leading up until ThanksGiving, over at the TheVirtualCavern, we will be sharing stories of Thanks & Gratitude from various writers as part of a short series entitled, “TVC Presents ~ Thanks”, and are currently reaching out to those who have been featured on our Poetry Podcast in the past to share their stories first.

So, what are we looking for? Writers who are featured will first start by introducing a bit about themselves, share what giving thanks means to them, a situation or event in life where you were very thankful; and lastly what the holiday Thanksgiving means to you. Feel free to share any Thanksgiving season traditions you may have that you enjoy, even if you’re not a big fan of the Holiday itself.

We ask that submissions are at least 2 paragraphs long, but we welcome for your writeup to be much longer if you so desire! If interested, please submit your entry via email at, and please be sure to shoot us any question via our Figment Page if you have them.

So sad to learn Figment is shutting down. The new site sucks tbh. I searched and searched for a place to sign up to write but the only thing they offer is a newsletter. It's nothing like Figment at all, and all that talk about a better platform was nonsense. There IS no platform. There's no place to share stories. Why must you do this Figment?

I've started a group and I'd love for you to be one of the first to join, it's called Women United

This isn't for feminist though I am all about women's rights. This isn't about Pro life or not Pro life. This is about women joining together to discuss books, to meet other women, and etc

Hey there Kimberly!

Poetry season is in full effect! And over at The Virtual Cavern, we are currently looking for aspiring poets to help promote, advertise, and grow their work - all a part of our “Poetry Podcast”. Depending on the amount of submissions each and every week, we will release a daily, brief, 3-5-minute podcast basically featuring an aspiring poet, and reading one of their written poems/pieces they have provided to us. We will first discuss a little bit about the featured poet based on the bio they send us, read one of their works, and close with where listeners can find and read more of his or her works, such as right here on Figment!

If you would like to have an opportunity to have your poem/sonnet feature on our site, simply send us a comment on our Figment Page along with a brief bio about yourself and little bit about how you got into writing, what you enjoy about it, etc. You can also submit this info to us via our email at

We hope to hear from you soon!
