Hey, it's Lexi :) I just wrote a new story called "Eva" and it's about the tragedy of putas, something many girls in the Dominican Republic have to live with. Putas are prostitutes on the island of Samana, usually starting as teenagers. I would be so grateful if you would read Eva's story. It's something I really want to portray well because it is such a serious issue for so many girls. Thank you :)

Hi. I have read some of your reviews and I really like the constructive criticism that you give writers. I was wondering if you would take a look at either my novel Australia, or any of my poems that are on my page.

Thanks for your time! Cassi V.

I apologise for the typos in my first comment. I wrote it in a hurry!

Hi Loan, I've just finished reading a post your wrote 6 months ago in a forum about the traditional publishing process. The book I've recently started to write and upload on Figment is called "Finding Elyssia." My initial plan was to upload a few chapters and then self-publish the book. So far I've been getting some REALLY good feedback and I'm starting to believe that it would be better for me to take the traditional publishing route. I'm just concerned about "first publishing rights." I understand that publishers want them and now that I've uploaded some of the novel online, they may be reluctant to pick my book up. Will this be an issue? Shall I still try the traditional publishing route?

One Death or Another

I really do suggest proofreading your work. In the beginning, for example, you use "it's (it is) orange arms" when it should be 'its oran... Read More »
