About me: My name is Nicky, currently living in a small town in the United kingdom, called Swindon. Although I feel as though I am fairly fluent almost natural in the English language, I have been born in Slovakia which is a small treasure, a country located in the heart of Europe. I only came living in the English speaking country when I was ten and barely could speak a few phrases. Luckily now I find myself in the position of my life where I try to create an influence in the world - an author in the making. At twenty-one years of age, I find myself being fascinated by all the fantasy genres, I myself read a lot and if we were to name all the books which I read and bought either in the store or added them into my kindle library, we would most likely be here until the early hours of tomorrow. I always loved reading a good story, yet writing has always intimidated me, just because I wasn't too sure if I could even become good enough. From the age of fourteen, when I first started to mess around with words and attempting to write a novel, there were many times when I wanted to give up, yet there was always something pulling me back to the pen and paper and forcing me to drop down many ideas, which even today I hold dear. They simply are a piece of my soul which not many people know fully well. Today, I am on my way, writing a fantasy, Greek mythology series and although it took me a while to get to this phase of my life as an author, this journey also taught me a lot of things. I for one, although forever my biggest critic, can recognise when details of writing just need to be let be and simple. Sometimes, simple makes perfect and even I would not want to ruin that simplicity. Anyway guys, I just want to thank you all for finding the time to read the first book in the Antipodean Serpents, which for all of you that don't know it, it's called Assigned. I am not too sure if you know the extend, how much it means to me. I have spent two years so far, planning and editing the story and I can't even begin to explain how many times I wanted to give up. But how could I give up doing something which I love so much? It simply is impossible. Once again dear readers, I appreciate your support. Greetings from the dreamland, for I am forever stuck there xxxxx
My favorite place to read is: Basically everywhere. I can read a book even if an earthquake was happening around me. Literally..
I can't live without: That's really tough. I will have to say ice cream, chocolate and pizza. I will not be surprised if I can't fit through doors in a few years lol
If I could be any literary character, I would be: I will probably look back to my childhood days and say Hermione Granger because I am forever a Harry Potter fan. Isn't Neville Longbottom ever so cute by the way?
Favorite authors: J. K. Rowling (although I must admit I have not yet read the last two books of the Harry Potter series. What sort of fan am I?) Veronica Roth (I am in love with her writing) Gena Showalter (It's just so hot) Diana Gabaldon Bella Forest
Favorite books: Harry Potter all the way Lords of the underworld series
Favorite movies: Pirates of the Caribbean(johny depp is just so sexy) Harry Potter
Favorite TV shows: Outlander (Jamie and his Scottish accent makes me feel many things inside) Sherlock Holmes(Benedict Cumberbatch and his dreamy eyes. Am I quirky when I find them cute?)
