"True enough, this compass does not point north." "...Where does it point?" "It points to the thing you want most in this world."

Hey there :) I was wondering if you could take a look at my piece, The Missing Compass? I’ve finally been daring enough to write a Pirates of the Caribbean fanfic, and equally as daringly (or was it stupidly? I’m not sure anymore…) entered it in the summer fanfic contest. Which, unfortunately, is heart based. I’ve worked pretty hard at getting my story out there, and as of right now I’m only thirty hearts away from becoming a finalist! It would mean the world to me if I could make it to the top ten, but it’s not my choice whether you decide to heart my story or not. (Don’t run screaming now!) I’m not asking for empty hearts. I’m asking you to actually read my story, give feedback if you see fit, and heart it if you think it deserves it. I’m willing to swap if you like, just post on my wall what you want me to read in return. If you don’t do free reads or swaps I’m deeply sorry for bothering you. Have a great day :)
