About Me: I want to be a YA author in the worst way, so I'm here to get feedback from my target audience. My fiction has been published in The Colorado Review, two anthologies published by Image Comics, and Strange Horizons. In Spring 2012, my short story based on The Smiths song, drawn by Traci Hui, will be published in Unite and Take Over Volume Two. I also write about the comics industry for Publishers Weekly. I have an MFA in Creative Writing and Literature from San Jose State University.

Favorite Authors: Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Virginia Woolf, Banana Yoshimoto, Isabel Allende, the Brontes, Jane Austen

Favorite place to read: In bed.
