Caldain is a hidden country in the Bermuda Triangle, which is home to modern-day elves, fairies, and mermaids, among other species. They can easily by the newest Maroon Five CD in the same store as their knives and pixie dust. They love in complete peace, until a prophecy comes along.

Of all the prophecies in Caldain, the people fear the Repeating Prophecy the most. It always predicts a young child with white hair will either save or destroy life as all Caldainians know it. Nothing is ever for sure, nothing but one thing.

There will always he war.

When Brinly, an elf with a smart mouth attitude, wakes up with her memory and buried in snow, she has no idea what's in store for her. Finding her long lost brother isn't her biggest shock. It's the fact that she is involved in the very same Repeating Prophecy that the Caldainians fear...

As well as another prophecy. And never in Caldain has an elf, or any other race, been in two prophecies at the same time.

But Brinly is no normal elf.
